Facilities

 

Most camps operate from a facility which supports its own camps in the summer and has rentals the rest of the year.  There have been many, many conversations over the years about the pros and cons of having a facility for Camp VIP but what’s been clear is that the ministry comes first and the mechanics come after.  There is truly a great freedom in being able to choose where ministry takes place.  We currently rent Cowichan Lake Outdoor Education and Conference Centre for our Junior and Teen camps www.town.lakecowichan.bc.ca/clec/ and a group campsite at Rathtrevor Provincial Park www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/rathtrevor/ for our Family Camp but opportunities are presenting themselves to stretch our wings over more of God’s wonderful locations, especially where we can be outdoors in His creation.
